NOTE:   for May we will meet at the DoSpace Center on 72nd & Dodge, meeting room #2 at 9:00 am due to construction at Sump Library.

Meeting Update – 5/13/17 . . . we will meet @ “DoSpace” 72nd & Dodge . .

Club members . . . I just received our confirmation from the DoSpacers that meeting room #2 has been reserved for Saturday 13 May, 2017.   Start time will be 9:00 am or shortly after setup of PC’s is done.

Also . . there is a Duncan Donuts a few steps away from our meeting room – – for those that appreciate good coffee and great Jelly Rolls!

Microsoft blocks Kaby Lake and Ryzen PCs from Windows 7, 8 updates

So . . what does this mean and should you be concerned?   The link on the next page provides a detailed explanation from PC World Magazine.   (hint:  unless you have a specific reason to do so . . don’t run the older versions of Windows on the very newest Intel (Kaby Lake) and AMD (Rizen) PC’s . . . )
