  1. Best to keep home PC operations & environment simple.

    No need to setup file-servers . . . use a cloud service like Dropbox for sharing instead.

    No need to setup print servers – – use basic CUPS and HPLip (if you have an HP Printer) in a wireless print network.

    No need to setup app/program servers . . . use open-source proggies like GIMP and install it to all twenty or more of your PC’s (legally).

    And no need to setup a complex Web Server LAMP stack – – instead use WordPress on a reliable hosted service (like this one . . . SiteGround).
