  1. Just to add a few points to the authors thoughts:

    > Limit use of web apps and web extensions on browsers.

    > Use an OS (Linux or BSD) that is designed from the ground up for multi-users and security (default directory and file permissions – – not requiring extra middleware).

    > Use an OS (Linux or BSD) that is designed from the ground up for NOT RUNNING AS ADMIN – – always should be running with distinct user profile using “temporary” admin (sudo) ONLY when required.

    > Don’t use OS’s that use a centralized registry instead of distinct text config files in a directory only root can write to (/etc).

    > Don’t visit any risky web sites (on purpose) . . . just asking for trouble with a capital T.
