David DeGroff has died ..

DeGroff, David Carter Nov 14, 1925 – Oct 22, 2017 Age 91 years. Of Omaha. David served with the U.S. Army during World War II, worked at Lincoln National Life Ins for over 25 years and was a longtime member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He cherished spending time with his family and friends, playing cards and caring for his four legged friends. Preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma DeGroff; granddaughter, Sarah Waszak; sister, Molly Willett. Survived by wife, Beverly; daughter, Marcia Waszak; grandchildren: Nick, Matt, Katie; many other relatives and friends. VISITATION:: Sunday, October 29, 2017, from 4-6pm, at Braman Mortuary (72 St. Chapel). CELEBRATION OF DAVID’S LIFE: Monday, October 30, 2017, at 10am, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 5410 Corby St. Interment: Evergreen. Memorials to the church or Nebraska Humane Society.
